Glenn Prangnell is a Chatham born, Medway based musician and songwriter. His first band,The Offbeats, was formed in 1983. They recorded one album “In Rhythm Off Beat” and disbanded in 1987 when Glenn formed The Kravin’ A’s. One album, “Krave On!”was released in 1991 on  Billy Childish’s label (Hangman) and one e.p, “Pushin’ And A-Shovin'” on Screaming Apple in 1993. After the demise of the Kravin’ A’s Glenn regularly gigged and toured with indie band Goodchilde who released two albums- “Elizabeth’s Talking Straight Into My Head” (1993) and “Straight Out The Fridge”(1995)- and a single “Sarapeutic”/”Chips With Everything”(1996). After “retiring” from the music scene in the late 90’s, Glenn continued to write and record demos at his home studio until re- emerging in 2009 to record his debut solo single under the name of Groovy Uncle. “Monkey Trousers”/”Now Your Pain Is Over” (State Records) was released in 2010. An album   – the highly praised “Play Something We Know!”- followed in 2011. He is currently writing for and recording with vocalist Suzi Chunk.
